Our signage calls these "Waldrapp ibises," but most sources seem to call them "Northern Bald Ibises." Another, better common name is "Hermit ibis," which captures their crazy old man appearance. Not surprisingly, their scientific name is Gerontia eremita or "Old man hermit."
